Recently we received some amazing press coverage from abroad. We figured that we must be doing something right. Being known to a broader audience supplies us with a steady stream of new visitors from all walks of life, which we are very grateful for.

A word of caution to our new guests

Visitors that only know us from newspaper articles and our website and not from first-hand recommendation sometimes come with expectations that we can't fulfill. Please do not expect a place that compares to a conventional luxury hotel.

We are different. We are a boutique guesthouse with an emphasis on a laid-back, bohemian lifestyle.

We love nature and everything that comes with it. We have friendly, yet sometimes misbehaving cats and every now and then a dog living with us. We accept to share our patch of land with all living creatures, even insects and birds. And instead of treating them as an annoying disturbance, we embrace them with all the traces they leave and arrange ourselves with them as best as we can. Live and let live.

At Naya the "captain" helps cooking, cleaning, building and makes guests feel welcome. But also he needs a break sometimes. So please don't be disappointed if you won't see him or if he has no time for you, especially if you are on a short visit.

We are aware that our prices are not easy to afford for everyone, but with so few rooms and such a big garden and house to take care of, and also to cover our costs during the winter months, we simply can't offer lower prices. We can not and we also do not want to compete with big hospitality businesses. We hope you understand.

In summary, think of a rustic organic shop rather than a sterile supermarket. :)
